The famous actor Meena’s spouse, Vidyasagar, passed suddenly on Tuesday night at a private hospital in Chennai. He was 48.
According to sources, Vidyasagar had to undergo treatment after receiving a lung condition diagnosis in March of this year. Before that, he had Covid-19, but he had been able to recover from it.
Vidyasagar was admitted to the hospital to receive treatment for his lung disease, but on Tuesday evening (June 28), his health deteriorated and he passed away at 7 o’clock. On June 29, at 2 p.m., his funeral will be held at the Besant Nagar cremation in Chennai.
The coronavirus infection that Vidyasagar contracted three months ago and passed away from when the infection exacerbated his lung condition was also revealed in a tweet by Tamil actor Khushbu, who had previously worked with Meena. Khushbu tweeted, “I very humbly implore the media to be a little bit responsible. Please refrain from reporting news that causes panic. 3 months prior, Meena’s husband had passed away. Covid made his lung condition worse. Please refrain from using the phrase “we lost Sagar to covid” to communicate the wrong message, incite panic, or cause commotion. Yes, we must exercise caution, but please.
On social media, a number of people in the film community offered condolences and sent messages of sympathy. Khushbu also tweeted, “Waking up to a sad news. It hurt my heart to read that Sagar, the actor Meena’s husband, had passed away. He had long struggled with a pulmonary condition. Meena and her young kid are on my mind. Life is unfair. without the words to describe my sorrow. My sincere sympathy go out to the family. #RIP.”
