The F4 5G and X4 GT, POCO‘s newest mid-range smartphones, have been released in international markets. Today saw the launch of the former in India as well.
For their base settings, the F4 5G and X4 GT start at Rs. 27,999 and €299 (about Rs. 24,600), respectively.
The gadgets include cutting-edge features including high refresh rates, several cameras, 5G connectivity, and 67W quick charging.
With the most recent F4 5G and X4 GT, POCO has updated its mid-range offering. The devices compete with those from OnePlus and Samsung.
The F4 5G is rumoured to be a rebranded Redmi K40S, while the X4 GT appears to be a customised version of the Redmi Note 11T Pro based on the design and features.

The phones include a primary 64MP sensor.
The 64MP primary lens, 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and 2MP macro sensor are all included in the POCO F4 5G and X4 GT. Additionally, the primary lens on the F4 5G has OIS. The cellphones have front-facing cameras with 20MP and 16MP, respectively, for selfies.
Display and design
The POCO F4 5G and X4 GT feature a top-centered punch-hole cut-out with thin bezels and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, while the F4 5G boasts an E4 AMOLED display.
The 6.67-inch Full-HD+ E4 AMOLED screen on the F4 5G has a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, a peak brightness of 1,300 nits, and a 360Hz touch sampling rate.
A 6.6-inch Full-HD+ (1080×2460 pixels) LCD screen with a 144Hz refresh rate is included on the X4 GT.
Internals
The phones start MIUI 13 runs on Android 12.
A Snapdragon 870 CPU with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage powers the POCO F4 5G. With 67W fast-charging, it has a 4,500mAh battery.
The MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC in the X4 GT features 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. A 5,080mAh battery with 67W fast-charging is within.
The devices use MIUI 13, which is based on Android 12.
Pricing and availability for the compact POCO F4 5G and X4 GT
Nebula Green and Night Black are the available colours for the F4 5G in India. For its 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, and 12GB/256GB versions, it costs Rs. 27,999, Rs. 29,999, and Rs. 33,999, respectively. Starting on June 27, it will be offered through Flipkart with discounts of up to Rs 4,000.
The colours Black, Silver, and Blue are available for the X4 GT. Starting at €299 (nearly Rs. 24,600).
