Testers are working out Wear OS 3.5 on the Galaxy Watch4
Last month, Samsung launched the first One UI Watch beta test for the Galaxy Watch4. The programme had only been used to test planned One UI updates for the company’s premium smartphones and foldables up until that point. The Galaxy Watch4 will receive a big update called One UI 4.5 that brings Wear OS to version 3.5 and adds a number of new watch faces and improvements. The third One UI 4.5 beta build for the smartwatch has been released by Samsung to begin July after two beta releases were made last month.
For the Galaxy Watch4, One UI 4.5 beta 3 corrects various problems that were present in earlier versions, according to XDA-Developers. This includes resolving the inability to restore Tile backups as well as a system UI crash that occurred when the home button was pushed while browsing through a list. Additionally, the touch sensitivity and battery consumption have been adjusted, presumably more in the users’ favour.
If you want to learn more about the changes in One 4.5, check out the “official” screenshots that leaker Evan Blass recently provided. They go over the new watch faces and features like dual SIM compatibility and audio channel options for paired earbuds.
With the help of the Galaxy Wearable app on your smartphone, you may install the most recent beta, which has the firmware version ZVFA. To update the software on your watch, open the app and select Galaxy Watch4 > Watch4 settings. Wait for the phone to download the beta firmware by tapping on Download and Install. Once the file has been downloaded, hit Install once more to launch the installation. For compatibility reasons, make sure you also update the Galaxy Watch4 plugin to the most recent beta version.
